August 20, 2025We've been enjoying the summer while playing the alpha server. A nice amount of bugs, features, balance changes and improvements were made. Most notable in gameplay that culture and science costs are increased, and Aether is more consistently awarded across playstyles.
Settle lands and grow your Kingdom
- The early game is about setting yourself up for success.
- Settle villages and claim the surrounding lands.
- Develop your resource production and village infrastructure.
- Research new technologies.
- Tier up your best villages and unlock specialty districts.
Thrive in a hostile environment
- After the start, work on controlling your surroundings.
- Aggressive natives and time-sensitive Aether mining operations spawn in your surroundings.
- Complete Events to get resources and Aether, a bonus currency.
- Join an Empire and fight for dominance over your area.
Gain Prestige to win the game
- Together with your Empire you work towards getting Prestige.
- Completing events, fighting players and claiming tiles all benefits.
- At 8, 14 and 20 weeks new Objectives spawn to accelerate Prestige gains.
- The first Empire to reach 250 Prestige wins the game!
