The first week after launching an alpha build is filled with the fun of playing the game live. With that, bugs are reported and need fixing. Other things feel worse than planned, so balance tweaks were made to some of the systems.

Balance changes
- Events in the first 4 weeks no longer spawn Spearman and Horseman units. They were disproportionally strong against the early game raiding troops.
- Reduced the chance for an Outpost event to spawn a new Gathering Troops event by 10% to 40%.
Bugs squashed
- The spawning algorithm was reusing spawns. Players now no longer spawn on top of each other, deleting the pre-existing village (sorry for those who had to restart).
- Defend events were causing an error with defending troops present, causing a server restart and disappearance of troops.
- Attack events with an Aether reward provided Aether even if the attackers all died.
- Units would defend multiple events at different locations (teleporting) or defend the same location from different targets. This should no longer happen, your units now defend the event you sent them to.
- Clicking the Map menu option on the Map screen after moving the map would result in an error.
- Loading a non-existent Empire would provide the wrong error response.
- Weekly achievements would be handed out for a 0 score, but this was fixed before the first week ended.
- Buildings would give +2 population when building level 1. This was some left-over code from long ago that has been cleaned up now.
- Units going to reinforce an event but being too late would attack instead. Now they return home.
