Three weeks into the beta and we've passed the 250 registered accounts! It's been a wonderful journey so far and I'm looking forward to many more weeks of Aether Kingdoms. Without further ado, here's the patch notes.
Features added
- The village resource view was updated to provide a more dynamic and immersive graphical presentation.
- An advisor character was added to give a face to Lord Marcus Stonegarden.
- Every Kingdom in the Empire can now see the total lines (the first line for attackers and defenders) of a battle report in-game when the report link is shared with them.
- An experimental fullscreen map was added, this feature will see further development.

Balance changed
- Noble speed was reduced from 6 to 4.
- The maximum number of Nobles per Kingdom is now tied to the server's age. The maximum starts at 1 and goes up every 2 weeks in the pattern: +1, +2, +1, +2, etc.
- The Kingdom whose village gets conquered now gets the culture cost of a new village refunded.
- Reduced event base unit spawn from 6 to 5, reducing the base range from 4-8 to 3-7. This slows the scaling of events with units.
- Reduced supply event base values by 100 for full events and 50 for stages, slowing down weekly scaling.
- Unit Aether costs have been increased to match 50% of the resources per Aether granted from purchasing resources directly.
The advisor, Lord Marcus Stonegarden
Improvements made
- Updated the game guide for beta to match the changes made during alpha testing.
- Added Objectives to the Empires and Prestige guide page.
- Added a guide page on Aether.
- Added advanced guides for the server timeline and events
- You can now see the name of the current village in the left sidebar on mobile.
- The Research tree now shows decimal separators on the science cost.
- The Message page now has a fixed height to display the messages, and scrolling is reset on changing page to allow for a more natural reading order when switching pages.
- The arrival timer on the Send troops screen is now dynamic, so you don't have to continuously validate your attack to hit a timing.
- Builders are now toggled per form instead of globally, so you no longer accidentally leave them active between pages.

Bugs squashed
- Fixed a bug that caused a village's loyalty to increase too slowly.
- Messages sent from the Send message button on a Kingdom's profile no longer appear in a shared Empire chat.
- Removing a member from the Empire now also removes them from the Empire's message threads, instead of kicking the person who removed the member from the threads.
- The Aether purchase button for troops now works if you have the exact amount of Aether required.
- An Empire message is now displayed for tiering up a town to a city.
- Changing unit values after validating a movement now no longer breaks the form.
- You can once again visit new pages for message threads.
Hope to see you in game! Play Aether Kingdoms now!
