A month into the beta and things are running smoothly. The game is progressing and everyone is gearing up for the more intense midgame. Enjoy these patch notes while you wait for your queue to finish.

Features added

  • You can now see the requirements for claiming your next tile on the village resources view. Once the required population is met, you can claim the tile from this window as well.
  • Sending an event from the map now returns a player to their position on the map instead of the outgoing troops screen.
  • You can now specify how much of each resource to send with a traderoute, up to a maximum of your village's production.
  • You can now see the current status of your tasks, instead of only a complete/incomplete.
  • You now get a report if you deposit resources at a supply event without completing it.
  • Added previous and next buttons to reports, so you can click through multiple unread ones.
  • You can now see the most recent few scouts and attacks from your Empire on a village or objective when clicking on it.

Balance changed

  • The military academy unlocks strong units. Too strong for this early in the game. That's why it's now locked behind a new research: Professional Soldiers.

Improvements made

  • The village resources view now resizes to fill the entire available area with images instead of adding unnecessary padding.
  • The fullscreen map was polished and is no longer considered experimental. It's also available on mobile screens now.
  • The empty area next to the top menu no longer prevents you from clicking on the sidebar if it overlaps.
  • The server widget on the website now shows the server age in days instead of the start date.
  • The server statistics page now shows the server age in days as well.
  • The number of remaining days of beginner protection are now visible on the player's profile.

Bugs squashed

  • The left sidebar now shows the proper values for culture and science again, including the production bonus.
  • The not enough resources window now account for the village's food consumption and shows Never for food if your food production is negative.
  • You can now cancel a siege attack.
  • Selecting your own villages from the dropdown on the send resources or send army screens now works properly with villages from the same name and certain edge cases.
