This time the patch notes are rather thin, as most work went into a single item: sitter functionality. Sitters were added to the beta server yesterday, allowing you to set anyone in your Empire as sitter. The sitter can look after your Kingdom, but with restrictions.
Sitter feature
You can now add up to two players from the same Empire as sitter to your account. As sitter, you can log in on someone else's Kingdom at any time. As sitter, you can look after your account by making sure villages are working and armies stay alive. When you're done with your sitter duties, simply click log out to go back to your own Kingdom.

A sitter can log in for up to 7 days after the account owner or a dual last logged in, so there's room to take a break when life gets busy.
As sitter you can:
- Manage the village queue:
- Make buildings
- Train troops
- Start science/culture projects
- Cancel queue items
- Buy and spend builders
- Manage village resources:
- Send merchants between own villages
- Send merchants to supply events and to complete monuments
- Exchange resources, also using Aether
- Buy resources with Aether
- Manage army:
- Move troops between own villages
- Reinforce own villages and objectives (for the consumption discount)
- Call back reinforcements, also when defending at events
- Manage army at objectives that are owned by the player
- See what's going on:
- Read reports, without marking them as read
- Check the Empire pages
- Start new research
Not all functionalities are available to a sitter, such as messages
As sitter you can't:
- Send army to farm resources or to other players (except reinforcing Empire-owned objectives)
- Send merchants to other players
- Purchase troops with Aether
- Get any Empire permissions the owner has, even if the sitter has them on their own account.
- Read messages, personal or Empire related.
- Add, change or remove stored plans in tools like the Culture Planner.
- View or edit profile or sitter settings.

Improvements made
- The week and day numbers showing the server age in the sidebar now start at 1 instead of 0.
- Leaving an Empire now requires clicking an extra confirmation.
Bugs squashed
- Reinforcements now get sent back home from an objective when a Kingdom leaves an Empire.
