1. Do I have to register an account?
Yes, registration is required. We chose for a system where a single account gives access to multiple game servers and dual features. This allows you to continue playing from a single account. Aether Kingdoms does not support guest accounts or similar techniques.
2. How much time does it take to play?
It depends on you how much time to invest in the game. Daily play is highly recommended, because it's a competitive game. You can play as much as you want and get ahead through farming and smart resource management. Or you can drop in for a short session a few times a day. In the end it's teamwork that wins in Aether Kingdoms, and there's a role for everyone to play in getting that victory.
We try to make Aether Kingdoms accessible to anyone who wants to play it seriously, also if you have a job and a life. In Aether Kingdoms we try to innovate on the genre by making some of the tedious parts more accessible. For us, this means stuff like:
- A village queue of 10 items, so you can plan ahead.
- No resource stealing from players, only from PvE events.
- Sending attacks and reinforcements up to 12 hours in advance.
- No need to send food when reinforcing objectives.
- Automated trade routes between your villages.
3. Can I start later on a server?

4. Is the game free to play?
Yes, the game is fully free to play. No money is required to compete. Aether Kingdoms is built for the love of browser strategy MMOs. We want to keep the game fair for everyone, an arena where strategy, knowledge and skills make the difference. And not your wallet.
5. Is Aether a premium currency?
No, Aether is not and will never be a premium currency. Aether is designed to feel like a premium currency, without having to pay for it. All Aether is earned through playing the game, such as doing events on the map or completing tasks for your Kingdom.
6. How will you monetise Aether Kingdoms?
Aether Kingdoms will offer a premium service that offers convenience features and viewing advanced statistics. Among the convenience features are repeatable science/culture projects, sending merchants on a repeat trips automatically, seeing the walking times of your units from the map, saving notes for each village, and more. Quality of life for sure, but nothing an alarm, calculator or notepad won't do.
