During our current server we've crossed the barrier of 1000 registered accounts! Thanks to everyone for trying the game during our beta phase so far.

In this post we're announcing the Beta 3 start time, showing the first new content and go over the final beta 2 patch notes.

Beta 3

Our next server is Beta 3. After a speed server and two 4-week servers it's time to go back to a full server at x1 speed. Beta 3 will see more districts, more research and more Aether Kingdoms! Let's go over the server

Beta 3 server data

  • Server: Plains 2 (beta)
  • Start: Thursday 18 June 2026, 14:00 UTC
  • Speed: x1
  • Runtime: First Empire to 250 Prestige (4-6 months)

Beta 3 new feature: Fortification and Trade districts

Beta 3 will launch with two new districts, bringing the total to 6. The Fortification District boosts your defenses and is available right away on any Town or City. The Trade District enhances your merchants and resource exchange, but you'll need to research it before it can be built.

The new districts will have two available buildings when the district is unlocked. The other two buildings need to be researched. And for returning players: the Industrial District is now locked behind a research too.

Beta 3 faction development: Humans

With Beta 3 we're also rounding out the Humans' identity. The Humans have moderate wall strength, merchant speed and capacity, making them a flexible faction. Their strength is in mobility, with a strong selection of cavalry units and the unique Cavalry Archer. And in case you're not playing in the current server: new art!

Beta 2 patch notes

The following changes are live on the current Start 2 server.

Features added

  • You can now queue a next research to start automatically when the current one finishes. No more having to remember to switch your active research or miss out on science during the night!

Improvements made

  • You can now see your total science and culture produced over time and your rank for these values.
  • The left sidebar now shows /hr for science, culture and industry.

Bugs squashed

  • You now get a clear error message when trying to quick build with builders and you don't have any builders.
  • Events no longer spawn on a player's claimable tiles during beginner protection.
  • The task for 15 resource fields to level 8 now awards 20 builders like the description promises. The missing builders were found and returned to their Kingdoms.
